Hi Mark. We just posted a blog on an almost identical email message. Do you know the significance of the warning code? It seems to be used a lot in spam emails?

Frames are a very old and very bad way to build a Web site.

Use CSS and PHP (or ColdFusion, ASP, Perl, Ruby On Rails, etc.) instead. You'll get cleaner code, faster loading pages and you won't confuse the hell out of search engines.

Actually it is possible to install Apple OS on the PC but i don't have the link or remeber what group or software it was that allows you to do it, but it has been documented on the net, and personally I prefer to use a PC with Linux Fedora Core 8 (for beginners wanting to see what linux is all about and how great it is, I hink the most user friendly one is Ubuntu which can be run directly from the CD/DVD, though all Linux distributions can, hows that for a great OS thanks to open source belief and movement) which is great it has the great looks of apple and much more options and customisability than either of those for the more ambitious advanced users. The only problem is the problem you state in this article, the whole propietry crap on devices that should work with all OS's should recieve support and should have no propietry crap. Because of these tight ass paranoid views/beliefs and procedure from harware vendors I try to find and use open source programs and methods to make them work on my linux system, and because of these views and procedures from software companies it pretty much gives me a strong defence and support for piracy as I am gettign ripped of and have been in teh past and am having my money stolen from me once a new OS comes out and support stops, its the one area of piracy they never compliain about on TV because they know what I say is the truth so they just use the old category of music piracy and so called imagenary profit loss pfft. Sadly I have to use that pitiful system called Windows to run my games on, though realising I can get a Mac OS workign on my PC, I might just install a Mac OS and play my games on that, that work anyway. Why didn't this thought coem across my mind before hehehe Cool a better lookign and more stable system to run my Mac compatible games on YAAAAYYYYY!!!!

One thing I have noticed about most of the sites on your profile and this is the thing that really s**ts me about most web developers living in countries where peopel are spoilt with internet speeds that are phenominal is that you constantly persist on not using and implementing sites with frames. It is as if you feel or believe it has no benefit, or has browser compatibility problems, or will slow down the users web viewing experience, I do not live in a country where internet speeds are slow, but they do get capped, and they are costly for speeds that still are primitive compared to the rest of the world. When you do get capped an experience that it is frustrating and angering and you truly feel sorry for those people and countries out there who are still using dial up speeds, which is what i had to use at my friends house until I could pay the internet bill ang get my adsl back up and running. From what i know and from the sites I have developed and different browsers I have tested them on, there seems to be no problems or complications using frames so why not use it, saves loading time (especially when you are displaying a large list of some sort), makes a faster web site for those who are capped or have to use dial up and it will put less strain and memory usage on the machine.
